Dr. Gugo Obang Kwot is a Board Vice-Chairman of the Gambella Medical Team Connection (GMTC). He had both bachelor and master degrees in Medical Laboratory Science, and doctoral degree in Health Science. Dr. Kwot is working as Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Barry Bacon is a board of Director of the GMTC. He is a family doctor and works in rural hospitals and emergency rooms in northeast Washington. He has taught physicians at multiple sites in east Africa and welcomes the opportunity to teach in Gambella.
Mr. Gatbel Chamjock is a Board Secretary and medical team lead of the GMTC. He is certified Physician Assistant, specialized in emergency medicine. Mr. Chamjock is working as a Mid-level medical provider at Unity Point Health/Allen Hospital’s emergency room in Waterloo, IA.
Mr. Dang, MPH. Is a Board member and Web Administrator of the GMTC. He has worked as health care provider for sixteen years. Dang is working for Mayo clinic at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.
Mr. Yien R Douth is a Board Member of the GMTC. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from Missouri Western State University and landed a job at a construction firm in Omaha, Nebraska where he worked for seven years until 2009. Then he went on to earn a master of science in Engineering at the University of Wisconsin. Now, he works at GMT Corporation near Waterloo, Iowa where he is providing engineering services to John Deere and Caterpillar.
Ken is a retired architect who practiced in Washington State after receiving his MA and gaining experience in Chicago and Colorado. He spent his career building a firm to provide services to primarily institutional clients. After retiring from that he went back to school and earned a Master of Theology. He is pleased to be part of the team that serve the people of Gambella.
